  1. Sit up tall in your chair or get on your hands and knees on a mat.

  2.  Inhale as you arch your back, lifting your chest and looking up toward the ceiling (cow pose)

  3.  Exhale as you round your back, tucking your chin to your chest (cat pose)

  4.  Repeat for 5, slow deep breaths.

2. Thread the Needle

     A great stretch for releasing tension in your shoulders and upper back.  


How to do it:

  1. Start on your hands and knees.

  2. Slide your right arm under your left arm, palm facing up until your shoulder touches the mat or floor.

  3. Hold the stretch for 20 to 30 seconds, breathing deeply

  4. Repeat on the other side.
